CHMELA is a graphic design studio founded by brothers Peter and David Chmela. We believe that design should be strong, memorable and functional. We try to create simple and beautiful works, as simplicity and beauty are important values to us. Peter (1984) holds master’s degree from Tomas Bata University in Zlin. During his studies, he completed internships at R2 in Portugal and Sagmeister & Walsh in New York. He specializes in visual identity, editorial design, webdesign and packaging. David (1985) holds master’s degree from Academy of Fine Arts and Design in Bratislava and from the Royal Academy of Arts in The Hague, Netherlands. He specializes in type design, typography, UX / UI and webdesign.
